Open Positions
Flaggers are in control of keeping a steady and safe flow of traffic around work zones. We are often the first ones on the road and the last ones off. Set up, construction, and breakdown all require vigilant flaggers to ensure that traffic does not pose a threat to workers, and vice versa.
A good flagger will use their own gained experience and discretion to maintain this flow and safety. This often requires occasional lifting of devices up to 50 pounds, being on foot for long periods of time, and walking long distances at urgent speeds. Strong senses of teamwork and attention to detail will ensure that you and others go home safe and happy each day. Please express your interest by submitting an application if this sounds like the job for you.
2021 Massachusetts prevailing wage rate for a flagger on public works projects is $47.98/hr
